About Us

Are you curious to know why we understand your business challenges so well? Three words: We’ve. Been. There. e6 International Inc. grew from two Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) ready to strike out on their own, to the fully operational management consulting firm you know today. Keep reading below to see how we made it happen.

2011

It’s 2011 and we’re two ambitious CPAs ready to create our own business. Our first official day of work starts June 6, 2011 and we hit the ground running.
  • We build our HQ in our own backyard, Atlantic Canada, because our corporate culture is grounded in Maritime values: Resilience, humbleness, patience, openness and hard work. We love that about ourselves, and we bring this culture along with us everywhere we go, including in our business.
  • Deciding to set our roots home does not mean our ambitions are not free to travel the world. Focusing on developing our IT communication abilities allows us to broaden our global reach.
  • We already have our first European Clients, cue a celebration!

Our office renovations are complete in Shediac and we realize three heads are even better than two, how else do you break ties? We hire our first employee August 2012.

  • Our first Canadian client has joined us
  • Our second employee is hired to join the team and we move our offices in Moncton, New Brunswick.
2014

This is the year that we know that in order to keep moving forward we need our team of experts to grow. How are you supposed to work on your business if you’re always working in your business?
  • We double our staff!
  • Virtual CFO? We’re into it and now have the time to draw up a plan and execute it.
2015

We set in motion our plan to develop our European market and it included:
  • Incorporating our Europe Division.
  • Opening our first European office in Denmark.
  Back home in Atlantic Canada:
  • We’re celebrating! We’ve been nominated for the “Young Entrepreneur Award”.
  • Can you say client retention success? We can! Repeat clients and a solidified contract has us feeling good this year.
  • Our CFO services are launched and our service offering have been defined and expanded.

There are moments in your business journey when you start feeling things shift. For us it was determining that we needed to include expertise in organizational effectiveness and operations, and so what began as a collaboration with management consulting company Engine 6 became a full-fledged merger.

We’re doing and accomplishing more for our clients than ever before with solutions to their business challenges that go beyond the scope of CFO services. We don’t realize it yet, but recognizing that we’re steadily outgrowing the services we offer is the first in a series of steppingstones towards who we are today.
  • We rebrand into who you know today: e6 International Inc.
  • We move into our current headquarters, 50 rue du Marché in Dieppe, Canada.
  • We are now equipped to take on Municipal clients, which we do.
  • A complete reorganization is taking place to reflect our service offerings.

We’re refining our hiring profile and recruiting internationally is a significant part of building our dream team. As a global management consulting firm, we know it’s the right fit for us because diversified teams add in measurable results.
  • We open our second European office in Belgium.
  • We invest in tools and technology to clear the way for efficient project and operational management.

Understanding our own business challenges and the solutions we were able to implement matter a lot. It’s what has allowed us to develop the tools and key solutions our clients rely on to undertake their own business challenges and cultivate growth in an evolving business landscape. This year we:
  • Defined and implemented our Project Management practices. We’re continuously building upon it, adding the tools we need to move our projects forward.
  • We have a 3-year strategic plan outlined and implemented.
  • Our organizational structure is updated to reflect our new requirements.
  • Our brand identity is defined and enabling us to communicate who we are clearly.
