Neil qualified as a lawyer in Scotland, having graduated as a multi-prize winning law student from Glasgow University. He has lived in the United Kingdom, Denmark and New Zealand and, just in the last two years, worked on business deals spanning five continents. In addition to contract and commercial law, Neil specialized in international tax and cross-border structuring. So , as well as providing corporate legal services in M & A, Neil can add value by analyzing structures from a tax and asset protection viewpoint, ensuring not only that deals work on a commercial level but that a structure is in place which maximizes profit and minimizes risk going forward.
Neil has written dozens of technical articles for academic journals and lectures university students in Copenhagen on international business. He lives in Denmark with his wife, two children and dogs. His interests include sports (participating, coaching and viewing) and politics.
